Do you cover all of London? +
Yes. We are based at Old Street EC2A and cover all London postcodes. We are happy to travel into the M25 belt; outside that we charge a small mileage allowance discussed at quote stage.
Do you provide a free quote? +
Always. We visit, measure, agree the spec and send a fixed itemised quote within 48 hours of the visit. There is no charge for the survey or the quote — even if you decide not to proceed.
How quickly can you start? +
For single-room projects, typically 2–4 weeks from sign-off. For larger refurbishments, 4–8 weeks. We confirm an exact start date before any deposit is taken.
Are you insured and certified? +
We hold £10m public liability and £5m employer liability insurance. Electrical work is Part-P certified. Documentation is included with every quote.
Do you guarantee your work? +
Every project carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee in writing. Materials carry their manufacturer warranties on top.
How do you handle dust and disruption? +
Floors are dust-sheeted, walkways are protected with Correx, and where we are sanding plaster or wood we use HEPA-filtered extraction. Tools are tidied away by 5pm.
Can you work around us if we live in? +
Yes — most of our jobs are live-in. We agree quiet hours, mask off the working areas at the end of each day, and run a single accountable site supervisor.
Do you handle the design or only the build? +
We are happy to work to your designer drawings, or to advise on layout, materials and finishes ourselves. Most clients sit somewhere between.
What deposit do you take? +
25% on agreement of the start date, balance in stages tied to milestones, and 5% retention released on snag sign-off.
Do you remove the waste? +
Yes. All site waste is removed daily on smaller jobs, or via a managed skip on larger ones. Disposal is included in the quoted price unless we flag otherwise.
